NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
THE COMMISSIONERS OF TRAVIS COUNTY EMERGENCY SERVICE DISTRICT NO. 5 WILL
MEET ON October 3, 2019 COMMENCING AT 6:30 P.M., IN THE CONFERENCE ROOM, OF
MANCHACA FIRE RESCUE ADMINISTRATION BUILDING.
STATION 501 AT 665 W. FM 1626, AUSTIN, TEXAS. THE AGENDA FOR THIS MEETING IS AS
FOLLOWS:

AGENDA
1) Call to order and establish a quorum.
2) Approval of minutes from the September 2019 board meeting.
3) Discussion and possible action on the adoption of Travis County Emergency Services District No. 5 2019
proposed ad valorem tax rate of $0.10 per $100.00 of taxable value, consisting of a debt rate of $.000 per $100.00 of
taxable value and maintenance and operation rate of $0.10 per $100.00 of taxable value.
4) Public Comment.
5) ESD Treasurers Report and authorization of payment for invoices, expenses and transactions.
6) Monthly activity report from Manchaca Fire Rescue.
7) Discussion and possible action regarding station ownership (station 503) – MUDD
8) Discussion and possible action regarding original station 501
9) Discussion and possible action regarding Sunset Valley Matter
10.) Discussion and possible action regarding Access Easement for the property West of SFFMA.
11.) Discussion and possible action regarding adding trees to property.
12.) Discussion and possible action regarding Certification pay.
13.) Discussion and possible action regarding Commissioner reappointment/CE credits.
14.) Discussion and possible action regarding annual holiday banquet and other upcoming community events.
15.) Discussion and possible action regarding strategic planning.
16.) Discussion and possible action regarding Auxiliary group updates/requests or approvals needed by Board.

SEC. 551.074; Personnel matters; to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment,
duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee; or to hear a complaint or charge against an
officer or employee – Chief Appraiser, ARB – Executive session in regards to Human Resources
SEC. 551.076; Deliberations regarding security devices

I, Reed Boyd, President of the Travis County Emergency Services District No. 5, do hereby certify that
on the 1st day of October 2019 this Notice of Meeting was posted at the administrative offices of the
District, 665 West FM 1626, Manchaca, TX 78652, in a place readily accessible to the general public at all
times for 72 continuous hours prior to the meeting, and filed with the Travis County Clerk for posting by the
Clerk at the Travis County Courthouse.
