Volunteer Fire Fighting

Travis County ESD#5 is a combination department relying on paid staff and volunteers to respond to emergencies in and around our community.

Volunteer firefighters are required to have a minimum of a Texas Commission on Fire Protection Basic Firefighter certification and a Texas DSHS EMT-B certification in order to be an active volunteer.  If interested, please fill out the form to the right and attach your resume.  A member of our team will get back to you with more information.

TCESD5 is currently not accepting applications for employment or volunteers.  If you are interested in receiving a notice of future opportunities to be a part of ESD5, please send an email to  recruiting@tcesd5.org
