NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
THE COMMISSIONERS OF TRAVIS COUNTY EMERGENCY SERVICE DISTRICT NO. 5 WILL
MEET ON August 6, 2020 COMMENCING AT 6:30 P.M., IN THE TRAINING ROOM, OF MANCHACA FIRE RESCUE STATION.
STATION 501 AT 665 W. FM 1626, AUSTIN, TEXAS. THE AGENDA FOR THIS MEETING IS AS
FOLLOWS:

1.) Call to order and establish a quorum.
2.) Approval of minutes from the July 2020 board meeting.
3.) Public Comment.
4.) ESD Treasurers Report and authorization of payment for invoices, expenses and transactions.
5.) Monthly activity report from Manchaca Fire Rescue.

d. New station 502/ building in back of existing station update
6.) Discussion and possible action regarding refinancing of station loan (new paper) and paying accrued interest.

9.) Discussion and possible action regarding PTO rollover adjustment/ TCDRS/Employee handbook changes
10.) Discussion and possible action regarding Budget amendment for Health Insurance increase.

12.) Discussion and possible action regarding adoption of 2020 tax rate, including the no new revenue tax rate and voter approved tax rate.
13.) Discussion and possible action regarding Auxiliary group updates/requests or approvals needed by Board.

and matters on which the attorney has a duty to advise the Board under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of
Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas.

SEC. 551.074; Personnel matters; to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment,
duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee; or to hear a complaint or charge against an
officer or employee – Chief Appraiser, ARB – Executive session in regards to Human Resources
SEC. 551.076; Deliberations regarding security devices
I, Reed Boyd, President of the Travis County Emergency Services District No. 5, do hereby certify that
on the 3rd day of August 2020 this Notice of Meeting was posted at the administrative offices of the
District, 665 West FM 1626, Manchaca, TX 78652, in a place readily accessible to the general public at all
times for 72 continuous hours prior to the meeting, and filed with the Travis County Clerk for posting by the
Clerk at the Travis County Courthouse.
